2019-08-14
SEREMBAN: The senior pathology team from Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL), who will be conducting the post-mortem on Irish teenager Nora Anne Quoirin, has arrived.

The team arrived at around 9.06am and was expected to conduct the post-mortem at around 10am.

Currently, the forensics department of Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital in Seremban is buzzing with activities from local and international media personnel who had been on standby since 6.30am today.

The family of Nora Anne confirmed that the identity of the body found about 2.5km from the resort the family was staying at was indeed of the missing teenager.

The family arrived in Negri Sembilan on Aug 3 for a two-week holiday in Malaysia and checked in at The Dusun resort on the same day.

They discovered the 15-year-old missing the next day and found the large window in one of the rooms was left open, leading them to believe that the girl with special needs was abducted.

The case gripped the nation as questions were raised over the security measures at the resort located some 30 minute-drive from Seremban town.

It was learnt that only one closed-circuit camera television (CCTV) was installed and it is used to monitor the reception area.

Surrounded by lush greenery, the site exudes privacy in a tropical orchard setting.
