MAHB: No more bees at klia2

Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad (MAHB) has put an end to the story of the migrating bees that was spotted at Terminal 2 of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (klia2).

MAHB tweeted last night that a fumigation exercise was carried out at 8 pm by the pest control team.

In an earlier statement MAHB also stated that they are monitoring the situation and will proceed to take further action if the swarm of bees continue to occupy the Bay Q4 area.

MAHB also clarified that the swarm of bees that was spotted is not a beehive, instead it was a mass of migrating bees.

The airport operator further stated that they will continue to take upmost care and responsibility towards the safety of passengers and the airport community.
